On Sunday night, September 20th, the producers of the San Jose 48 Hour Film Project hosted this year’s award ceremony. Twelve films were re-screened and awards were handed out. My short film for this year, Stipulations, was awarded Best Musical Score by the panel of four judges. While we didn’t win for any of the other major awards, we did receive the Producer’s Choice Award, given to one film chosen by the film project producers for their favorite film. This was a very kind and generous award, and it came with a free hug!
Lastly, Stipulations was the winner of the Audience Choice Award (for Group A), determined by the most votes from the audience ballots after all of the films had screened. Both this and the Producer’s Choice Award are very welcome, and I’m extremely thankful for the recognition!
